1. Orders, Sampling & Commercial Terms

Our standard Minimum Order Quantity (MOQ) is 200 pieces per design and per colorway. Unlike standard stock suppliers, Zega Apparel is a custom cut-and-sew factory. Producing 200 units allows us to set up dedicated automated cutting beds, dye lots, and inline printing or embroidery machinery cost-effectively.

Within your 200-piece order, you can split sizing (e.g., Small, Medium, Large, XL, 2XL) according to your target market's size ratio without extra set-up fees. We also offer pre-production trial sampling (1–3 pieces) so you can verify fabric feel, sizing fit, and artwork quality before full-scale manufacturing begins.

Our standard production pipeline follows strict timelines to ensure your product drop dates are met:

  • Costed Quotations: Issued within 24 to 48 hours upon receipt of specifications.
  • Sample Prototype Turnaround: 7 to 10 business days after tech pack and fabric sign-off.
  • Bulk Manufacturing Lead Time: 2 to 3 weeks for standard knitted apparel (t-shirts, hoodies, activewear, sweatpants). Complex garments such as heavy outerwear, raw denim jeans, or specialized garment-dyed programs take 3 to 4 weeks.

No, a complete professional tech pack is not strictly required. If you do not have CAD drawings or specification sheets, our in-house garment engineers can develop a production-ready tech pack for you.

You can provide physical reference garments, high-resolution photographs, or hand-drawn sketches along with target measurements. We will generate graded measurement specs, stitch construction call-outs, trim layouts, and print placement diagrams for your approval before cutting fabric.

Yes. Pre-production samples (PPS) are crafted using the exact fabrics, dyes, trims, and embellishments specified for your bulk run. This guarantees that the pre-production sample you review physically mirrors the mass production garments delivered to your warehouse.

Sample charges apply to cover machine setup and fabric sourcing; however, sample fees are credited back toward your final invoice once the bulk production order is confirmed.

2. Technical Capabilities, Fabrics & Customization

We source, knit, and process an extensive fabric portfolio tailored to your exact specifications:

  • Cotton Knits: 100% Combed Ring-Spun Cotton (180–280 GSM), GOTS-Certified Organic Cotton, Supima Cotton.
  • Fleece & Terry: Heavyweight French Terry (240–340 GSM), Brushed Fleece (280–460 GSM), Diagonal Terry for luxury streetwear blanks.
  • Performance & Activewear: Polyester-Spandex blends with 4-way stretch, moisture-wicking interlock knits, antimicrobial finishes, and compression fabrics.
  • Wovens & Outerwear: Cotton twill, ripstop nylon, poly-cotton workwear canvas, raw and washed denim.

Custom fabric knitting, GSM customization, and pantone-matched fabric dyeing are available for custom orders.

Our integrated facilities execute a wide array of decoration techniques under strict quality supervision:

  • Screen Printing: Plastisol, eco-friendly Water-based inks, Discharge printing, High-Density print, Puff printing, and Metallic/Foil finishes up to 8 colors.
  • Digital Printing: Direct-to-Garment (DTG) printing for detailed photographic artwork and all-over dye sublimation for technical activewear.
  • Industrial Embroidery: Multi-head computerized embroidery operating up to 15 colors—including flat satin stitch, 3D puff embroidery, chain stitching, and fabric appliqué.

Yes, Zega Apparel provides comprehensive OEM/ODM private label solutions. We supply woven damask neck labels, satin care labels, heat-transfer inner neck prints, custom die-cut hangtags with safety pins or string, branded poly-bags, tissue wrapping, and outer barcode labeling.

Your finished goods arrive folded, poly-bagged, and carton-packed according to retail compliance standards, ready for immediate distribution or e-commerce fulfillment.

3. Quality Control, Guarantees & Global Shipping

To eliminate defects and maintain international manufacturing standards, Zega Apparel operates a mandatory 4-stage Quality Control system:

  1. Stage 1 — Raw Fabric Inspection: 4-point inspection system checking GSM, shade continuity, roll width, and pre-wash shrinkage tolerance.
  2. Stage 2 — Inline Sewing Audits: Hourly measurement and seam-strength audits performed directly at cutting and stitching stations.
  3. Stage 3 — Post-Production AQL 2.5 Inspection: Statistical sampling based on ISO/AQL 2.5 guidelines checking construction accuracy, print adhesion, and wash color-fastness.
  4. Stage 4 — Pre-Shipment Audit: Final photo-documented audit confirming carton counts, size breakdown accuracy, and packaging integrity prior to dispatch.

We export custom apparel daily to clients in over 30 countries across North America, Europe, Oceania, and the Middle East—with primary markets including the USA, UK, Canada, Australia, UAE, and Germany.

We support multiple commercial freight options including DDP (Delivered Duty Paid) where customs duties, import clearance, and door delivery are managed by us, as well as FOB and Express Air Freight (via DHL, FedEx, and UPS) for fast-turnaround inventory drops.

Commercial orders are processed with a standard 50% production deposit upon order sign-off and tech pack approval, with the remaining 50% balance due upon completion and final photo/video inspection before shipping.

We fully respect client intellectual property. We readily sign legally binding Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs) to protect proprietary custom cut-and-sew fit blocks, graphic designs, and brand concepts from unauthorized reproduction.
